IAFA Ayurveda has announced the publication of a comprehensive review of IAFA 333 Cream, a proprietary Ayurvedic polyherbal topical formulation, in the World Journal of Pharmaceutical and Medical Research (WJPMR), Volume 12, Issue 9, 2026. Published on September 1, 2026, the review examines IAFA 333 Cream through Ayurvedic principles, phytochemistry, pharmacological research, and available clinical observations.
The review discusses the formulation’s combination of medicinal ingredients, including Wrightia tinctoria (Shveta Kutaja), Azadirachta indica (Neem), Albizia lebbeck (Shirisha), Pongamia pinnata (Karanja), and Cocos nucifera (Coconut Oil). Research reviewed in the publication indicates that these herbal ingredients possess various biological activities, including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antimicrobial, antiallergic, wound-healing, antipruritic, and skin-barrier-supporting properties.
According to the review, IAFA 333 Cream has been used as an adjunctive topical formulation within comprehensive Ayurvedic management approaches for selected dermatological conditions, including eczema, atopic dermatitis, pityriasis alba, solar urticaria, chronic urticaria, and other inflammatory and allergic skin disorders.
The publication also highlights the importance of continued scientific research. The currently available evidence for the finished formulation is primarily based on case reports, observational clinical experiences, and research on individual herbal ingredients. The review emphasizes that randomized controlled trials, long-term safety studies, and further mechanistic investigations are needed to establish its efficacy and therapeutic role more conclusively.
The publication marks a step toward integrating traditional Ayurvedic knowledge with contemporary scientific research and contributes to the growing discussion around evidence-based approaches to integrative dermatology.
