Successful Ayurvedic Treatment of Atopic Dermatitis with Nasal Allergies due to Multiple Food Intolerances in the 4-Year-Old Child with Allergy March – A Case Study

It is a case study about the successful Ayurvedic treatment of Atopic Dermatitis with Nasal Allergies due to Multiple Food Intolerances in the 4-Year-Old Child with Allergy March.

Abstract

Allergy March is a condition where the patient suffers from skin hypersensitivity reactions due to food intolerance and food sensitivity reactions. This skin hypersensitivity is called Atopic dermatitis which when left untreated can exaggerate to Allergic rhinitis and Asthma.

Atopic dermatitis is the inflammation of the skin. It occurs due to the hypersensitivity reactions our body produces when exposed to certain types of allergens. The allergens include dust, pollen, smoke, some fragrances, mites, and specific foods.

When a person is exposed to the above-mentioned allergens, his body treats the allergens as an antigen and starts producing antibodies to fight against them. But it causes inflammation in his skin, because of hypersensitivity reactions.

This condition is quite common in children but can also be seen in adults. There is no specific gender-variant that is more prevalent in this condition. Common causes are the allergens entering or coming in contact with his body. Symptoms include itching, redness over the skin, rashes, papules or vesicles on the skin, inflammation and so on. Upon severity of the condition, the skin becomes intensified and scaly.

Rashes can usually be found on the neck, ground, armpits, elbow joints and on. Usual allopathic treatment involves steroid creams and antihistamines which are best for providing symptomatic relief but produce not so good results in the long term. That’s where comes into play our Ancient Ayurveda which has some incredible herbs that not only help to get relief from symptoms but also help in preventing the condition from reoccurring.

We take a chance to introduce you to IAFA® founded by Dr Sahil Gupta who is a well-known allergy specialist not only in India but also in Canada, Australia and the US. His treatment particularly for allergies has been widespread worldwide.

Not only the root cause that is multiple food intolerances was treated well but also the allergic symptoms have shown a drastic change. The patient was happy about the treatment but Dr. Gupta advised the patient to continue the Atopic dermatitis ayurvedic medication along with food allergies and nasal allergies medications for the next 3 months to completely cure the condition.

4th Follow-Up: 03 January 2022

After thoroughly following up with the patient for 4 months the team IAFA® was so happy to witness the improvement in the condition of the patient. Well, you can also compare the miracle. Have a look at the patient’s condition after continuously using the medications and following the Ayurvedic diet for Atopic dermatitis and Food Allergy.

You can compare the before and after pictures of the treatment and that made us ecstatic.

In the above picture, you can still see the marks left, so Dr Gupta advised the patient to continue the same medication for about 2 months to remove the marks and bring the 100% result and also prevent the patient from reoccurring the condition.

5th Follow-Up: 06 February 2022

Usually, at the end of the course of treatment, Dr. Gupta titrates the medications prescribed and reduces the herbs. But the patient’s condition was exaggerated due to the change in food habits and also moving to different places.

The same herbal usage was recommended due to moving the patient to a cooler place than before. So Dr. Gupta advised the patient to continue with the same medication for two more months.

Fortunately, after using the medications for about a month, the patient’s condition has returned to normal. One thing to note here is, that team IAFA® and Dr. Gupta had worked for 4 months to eliminate the root cause of the food allergy and atopic dermatitis, that’s why the patient has recovered quickly.

After using the above-mentioned same medications the patient came up saying:-

  • No itching especially at night times.
  • No rashes over the legs.
  • No vesicles over the ankles and elbows.
  • Indigestion and bloating were also reduced considerably.
  • The condition has improved even after getting exposed to cooler areas.
  • Food allergy is also reduced to a large extent.
  • The problems related to Allergic rhinitis were also curtailed.

6th Follow-Up: 07 March 2022

Dr. Gupta keeping in mind the situation the patient faced after shifting to a different place advised them to continue the medication for the last month to assure 100% safety of the patient.

After continuous intake of medicines for about 6 months and following the diet recommended by Dr. Gupta, got completely cured of the condition and never faced any such issue.
